Good Morning!
First I will start off with the link to the sketch challenge. It comes from Freshly Made Sketches # 221
Last month I finally ordered the woodgrain background stamp, I have been wanting this stamp for awhile. Well I finally have it, and I really wanted to use it on this months sketch challenge. The ink I used was early espresso then stamped onto crumbcake cardstock. As you can see I cut the stamped image up to look like fence boards. I love how this card turned out.
I placed the fence boards a bit crooked just to help it give that "aged" look. It isn't showing up very good in the photo but I used the wink of stella on the word happy.
and here is the inside
Now I am ready for our stamp club this thursday.
Have a great day!
Donna
Love the combination of flowers and aged wood! The details on the inside add a finishing touch.
ReplyDeleteTerrific card, Donna ~
THANKS! Deb. Yes, you are right. Flowers and wood go well together. I have a feeling I will be making more cards with this combination. Love this new stamp.
