Tim Holtz 12 tags of 2015 February

Here I am doing the second tag of the year!! go me LOL

Here is my take on the tutorial from Tim Holtz 12 tags of 2015 Feb

I also decided to add in a little challenge to myself and fit in Linda Ledbetter Compendium of Curiosity challenge into this tag. If you have Tim's book you can turn to page 62 to learn how to use the dimensional cutting pad!.

Also this month  The Funkie Junkie Boutique is  sponsoring this challenge :)

camera2stamp

Last months stamp of the month from Stamps of Life was called camera2stamp. What a cute little stamp set. Here is what I created using parts of the stamp set.

I placed two of the stamps together to create my background.

The large camera was stamped with embossing ink, then white embossing powder was used to bring out the camera on the black cardstock. The camera was cut out with one of the many dies that came with this set. I am not able to cut straight so you gotta love the dies that come with this set :)

I really like how it turned out.

Have a great Sunday!

Stampin' Up Jan 2015

Here we are and its now Jan 2015

This month our card sketch challenge comes from  Pals Paper Arts  here is my take on the sketch.

Our first project is Case'd from Song of My Heart Stampers
Such a beautiful card.. Lyssa has "cheat sheets" for sale with the measurements if you are interested :)

Our second project is the shaker frame. This was really fun to make.

And now our third and last project was Case'd from Card Creations by Beth  another  beautiful card. We used the Lotus Blossom stamp for the main image and the background paper is the new Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP which has the clear pre-embossed designs that we inked.

There you have it. Our first month of the new year has started out with some beautiful cards. Thanks Charlene!

Stay warm and enjoy your weekend
