Birthday club June and July 2017

Hello, everyone!

Oh boy! this was the first time that I was a little late in sending out the birthday cards.  Feeling bad about that so I decided that while I was making the birthday cards for June I should make the ones for July!

I had to mail these cards so I was concerned about the thickness. I decided to leave the front of the cards simple. It's the inside of the card that is the FUN part! Love how these pop out cards turned out. There were 6 cards in June.

And here are two of the four cards that I had made for the July Birthdays. I couldn't decide if I liked the bottom of the flower up or to use it as more leaves, so I did both HA!

Enjoy the rest of the week!

PS   I forgot to mention that after taking the photos I realized I had forgotten to add bows to the balloons, which I did do before sending them off :)

Birthday Club April 2017

A good friend of mine came across a birthday die set in her stash and thought of me :) She offered to borrow me the die set so I could make this months cards. Here are the cards I created.

Thank you, Janice, for thinking of me when you saw these cute dies. I LOVED playing with them!

I am now going to go out for a walk and deliver our neighborhood newsletters.

Have a great week everyone!

Birthday Club March 2017

Oh, I had fun making these cards. I even kept one for myself :)

Here is the list of items that I used:

Background stamp came from timeless textures.

Flowering branch came from Morning Meadow
I punched out the little flowers with the petite flower punch

Butterflies came from Papillon Potpourri stamp set. I punched out the small butterflies but hand cut the larger one.

Sentiment frame comes from Chalk talk and then cut out using the chalk talk framelits. The sentiment came from party pants then punched out using the 1 3/8 circle punch.

The ink colours that I used were Crumb Cake, Tip Top Taupe, Blushing Bride, and Calypso Coral.
I also used the Wink of Stella on the butterflies. Hard to tell in the photo but looks great to the naked eye :)

Have a great evening everyone!

Birthday club January and February 2017

I know I posted the January cards not long ago but I wanted to post it together with the Feb cards

For the month of January, I made four cards one I kept. Each one is a little different. Love the look of these.

February
Shaker cards! love how they turned out. I love jars so when I saw this stamp and die set I knew I had to get it. Glad I did.

I needed to make one more birthday card for a friend of mine. She just happens to be in the same club just a different group.

As I was moving my craft room back upstairs I came across a stamp set, punch and embossing folder that I have never used or at least don't remember using! The stamp set is called Mosaic Madness and there is a punch available to go with it. The embossing folder is the Modern Mosaic. What a wonderful set to play with! I also used a stamp from the stamp set called Timeless Textures and the sentiment is from a set called Party pants.

It was great to take a break from moving stuff and make this card. Love how it turned out.

Have a great week!

Birthday cards July-Dec 2016

Here we go...

July
I used the Sizzix circle flip it die #2
Looks like spring Stampin Up stamp set with the coordinating Spring bouquet flower punch.
I thought these turned out really cute :)

August
This is a Z fold card and I love them! I used the Stampin Up Botanical Blooms die to create the flowers and the stamp set used to create the background is also from Stampin UP called touches of texture.

September
Love how this card turned out. I used the stamp set called Balloon Celebration from Stampin Up and then hand cut the balloons.

October
Tried a vertical version of the Z fold. Worked great!

Here is a list of the products used:
Stampin Up Softly falling embossing folder
Stampin Up Balloon Celebration stamp set for the little stars and balloons
Stampin UP Party Pants set for the WOO HOO!
CTMH stamp set For Every Occasion stamped out the Happy Birthday
The Sentiment comes from Stampendous Birthday Wish. I have used this stamp many times!

November
Still loving this Z-fold
As you can see I used the same stamp sets as in the previous month cards.

December
I just had to use my new cable knit embossing folder. Thought it would bring some warmth to a winter birthday card :)

Whew! that was fun :)
Have a great weekend!

Birthday Club cards for 2016 January -June

Here are the ones for

January
This embossing folder has been used so many times and I still love it! It works great for the backgrounds and on the flaps of the envelope  :)

February
I made four this month. An extra one to mail off to a friend who just happened to join the same club!

Another embossing folder that has been used several times. I used about 3/4 of the top part of the folder.  This folder was included with a magazine that I had purchased. Love it!
March
Love this happy birthday stamp and the bows are so cute!
April
I only had to make two cards this month.
"Falling snow" is what this embossing folder is called. Works great with birthday cards!
May
I sure have made good use of my embossing folders these past few months lol
June
Made an extra one for me to keep :)
I have wanted to try my hand at making a box card but wasn't sure about mailing them. These went into the envelope quite nice. No extra postage!

Hope you enjoyed what you see. I will be posting the next set very soon.
Have a great weekend!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2017

I noticed that it has been awhile since my last post...

I have been making cards! I had joined up with a Birthday club and have a few of those photos to share. I just need to find them and get them ready to post. I also have cards that I had made for our Stampin Up club card challenge that I will post as soon as I can.

I just finished and mailed off the January birthday cards :)

Here they are. We usually have only 3 to make each month but this month there were 4. I decided that I want to work harder on using what I already have.

I have had this paper pad for a long time and wanted to start using it. I Love how these cards turned out. I want to make more! I don't know why but they remind me of patchwork quilts!

And here is our January 2017 Stampin up card sketch challenge
This month our sketch challenge comes from Freshly Made Sketches #269
Here is my take on the Sketch
I just love this jar of love set! and I am planning to use it for next months Birthday cards :)

That is all for today. I am planning to make another post in the near future. Stay warm and take care everyone
