I am back....

 I have been missing for a while but wanted to let you all know that I am back!

While I was gone I was still creating birthday cards for my family just wasn't able to post them here. I will start sharing with this special one... 

This beautiful birthday card was made for my daughter I am happy to say that she fell in love with it.

I used the following Stampin Up! products some of the products have been retired but if you are wanting to recreate this card I am sure you can substitute quite easily :)

brick & mortar embossing folder for the background

spritzed the background with frost white shimmer paint

I die-cut the butterflies from the butterfly bijou dsp using the brilliant wings die

Hey Chick!

 Hey Chic is an older Sale-A-Bration stamp set that I love.This year Stampin Up! surprised us with a set of coordinating dies! I just had to have them.

Here is just one of the results of using this set.

I used Real Red Cardstock and a strip of retired Polka Dot Parade DSP that measures 3 x 4 inches. I then used one of the dies from the Stitched  Nested Label dies to diecut from the center and popped it up using Stampin' dimensionals. The chicken wire was cut from the new Chick die set. Love it!

I'm back......... and with a new card to share

 It has been way too long since my last post, so much has happened in my life. I won't go into it so I will just jump in and share this pretty card.

I wanted to make a card for a certain person who has not been well lately, I am sure she will be surprised to get this in the mail :)

Whisper White is the cardbase 8 1/2 x 5 1/2

I embossed the front of the card base using the LACE DYNAMIC embossing folder

2nd layer Melon Mambo 3 1/2 x 5

Next layer dsp PETAL PROMENADE 3 1/4 x 4 3/4

The swirly circle diecut comes from the PAINTED LABELS die set.

The sentiment stamp comes from the stamp set DANDELION WISHES stamped with Melon Mambo ink onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock then cut using a die from the layering circles die set.
