Compendium of Curiosities 3 challenge #2
Linda over at Studio L3 is holding the cc3c challenge.
And this week The Funkie Junkie Boutique will be sponsoring the challenge!
Here I am on the second challenge and the challenge is to use the Tim Holtz's distress glitter.
I know I have mentioned before how I am not a glitter girl but I sure do like these distress glitter!
I now own 4 colours of the distress glitter. Here I used the one colour which is clear. Wish I had the green glitter, and maybe a few more lol
This is a really nice piece Donna! That cute little bird. The flourish and your flowers are quite cute...did you make the flowers yourself? Karen.x
ReplyDeleteHI Karen Thank you for the lovely comment!
ReplyDeleteNo, I did not make the flowers, they are the white "I am roses" which I had coloured using the Tim Holtz markers, then glittered up the edges :)
Your piece makes me happy! It reminds me of a simpler time at my grandmas house where she would make me her special " toast". She worked full time her whole life and didn't have time to cook, but her toast was delicious! Thanks for the memories! Beautiful colors too! Vic.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the corrugated base, and the glittery foliage is perfect...great window too! Thank you so much for playing along with us on the glittery challenge at CC3Challenge!!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Love the dimension of your project! So pretty with the sparkly vine going up the window! Thanks for sharing your art in our CC3C!
