Birthday cards July-Dec 2016

Here we go...

July
I used the Sizzix circle flip it die #2
Looks like spring Stampin Up stamp set with the coordinating Spring bouquet flower punch.
I thought these turned out really cute :)

August
This is a Z fold card and I love them! I used the Stampin Up Botanical Blooms die to create the flowers and the stamp set used to create the background is also from Stampin UP called touches of texture.

September
Love how this card turned out. I used the stamp set called Balloon Celebration from Stampin Up and then hand cut the balloons.

October
Tried a vertical version of the Z fold. Worked great!

Here is a list of the products used:
Stampin Up Softly falling embossing folder
Stampin Up Balloon Celebration stamp set for the little stars and balloons
Stampin UP Party Pants set for the WOO HOO!
CTMH stamp set For Every Occasion stamped out the Happy Birthday
The Sentiment comes from Stampendous Birthday Wish. I have used this stamp many times!

November
Still loving this Z-fold
As you can see I used the same stamp sets as in the previous month cards.

December
I just had to use my new cable knit embossing folder. Thought it would bring some warmth to a winter birthday card :)

Whew! that was fun :)
Have a great weekend!

Birthday Club cards for 2016 January -June

Here are the ones for

January
This embossing folder has been used so many times and I still love it! It works great for the backgrounds and on the flaps of the envelope  :)

February
I made four this month. An extra one to mail off to a friend who just happened to join the same club!

Another embossing folder that has been used several times. I used about 3/4 of the top part of the folder.  This folder was included with a magazine that I had purchased. Love it!
March
Love this happy birthday stamp and the bows are so cute!
April
I only had to make two cards this month.
"Falling snow" is what this embossing folder is called. Works great with birthday cards!
May
I sure have made good use of my embossing folders these past few months lol
June
Made an extra one for me to keep :)
I have wanted to try my hand at making a box card but wasn't sure about mailing them. These went into the envelope quite nice. No extra postage!

Hope you enjoyed what you see. I will be posting the next set very soon.
Have a great weekend!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2017

I noticed that it has been awhile since my last post...

I have been making cards! I had joined up with a Birthday club and have a few of those photos to share. I just need to find them and get them ready to post. I also have cards that I had made for our Stampin Up club card challenge that I will post as soon as I can.

I just finished and mailed off the January birthday cards :)

Here they are. We usually have only 3 to make each month but this month there were 4. I decided that I want to work harder on using what I already have.

I have had this paper pad for a long time and wanted to start using it. I Love how these cards turned out. I want to make more! I don't know why but they remind me of patchwork quilts!

And here is our January 2017 Stampin up card sketch challenge
This month our sketch challenge comes from Freshly Made Sketches #269
Here is my take on the Sketch
I just love this jar of love set! and I am planning to use it for next months Birthday cards :)

That is all for today. I am planning to make another post in the near future. Stay warm and take care everyone

May Stampin up card sketch challenge

Here we go... It's May and another sketch challenge that I managed to find the time to join in on the fun. The sketch comes from Freshly Made Sketches #229 and what a great sketch.

Here is my take on the sketch challenge

Hmm I guess I have been liking the black and white combo lately :)

I used the square framelit die from Stampin up and the stitched square die comes from Gina Marie Design.
The sentiment comes from a Stampin up stamp set called the Six-sided sampler. Loved how it fit perfectly in the square.
I have no idea where I got the butterfly lace trim but was glad I found it in my stash :)

April stamp club projects

Wow! what a wonderful evening it was. We made some awesome projects last month.
Links will be posted once I receive them :)

Here is project #1
Rose Wonder/Rose Gardern

Case'd with video from The Creativity Cave - Dena Rekow
This new rose thinlit die sure does make a beautiful card!

Project #2
Inlaid Pop-up Butterfly

This idea came from Michelle Mills
What a fun way to use washi tape!

Project #3
Butterfly Vellum View Card

I love vellum cardstock! and this card turned out stunning using vellum and a clever way to add a butterfly!
I took 3 photos of the card so you could see the front center and back.
Here is the link to where this was case'd from My Creative Corner

Thanks Charlene for sharing some great projects with us.
